- Grooming, coercion, manipulation, or attempts to build trust with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sexual solicitation of a minor.
- Sextortion, blackmail, threats, or pressure involving sexual images or conversations.

Users may not use Rise Up to create, upload, share, request, store, promote, or distribute any content or behavior involving child sexual abuse or exploitation.
Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Users can report unsafe behavior, content, profiles, posts, messages, groups, or accounts directly inside the Rise Up app or website when reporting tools are available.
You can also contact us by email:
When reporting a child safety concern, please include as much detail as possible, such as:
- The username or profile involved.
- The post, message, group, or content type.
- The date and approximate time of the activity.
- Screenshots or descriptions, if available.
- Any reason you believe a minor may be at risk.
Do not send illegal child sexual abuse material to us by email. Instead, report the profile, message, post, or content location so we can review and take appropriate action.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away. Rise Up reports are not a substitute for emergency help.
How Rise Up Responds
When Rise Up becomes aware of suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation, we may take action that includes:
- Removing content.
- Restricting, suspending, or permanently banning accounts.
- Disabling access to messages, groups, profiles, or other features.
- Preserving relevant account, content, and activity information when appropriate.
- Escalating serious child safety concerns to appropriate authorities, child safety organizations, or law enforcement when required or appropriate.
- Taking additional safety measures to protect users and the community.
We review child safety reports as a high-priority safety matter.
Cooperation With Authorities
Rise Up intends to comply with applicable laws and valid legal processes involving child safety, child sexual abuse material, exploitation, trafficking, grooming, and related harms.
When required by law or when appropriate to protect a child or the public, Rise Up may preserve and disclose relevant information to law enforcement, child safety organizations, or other proper authorities.
User Responsibility
Every Rise Up user is responsible for following these Child Safety Standards. Users must not post, share, request, encourage, or participate in any activity that harms or exploits minors.
Users must also avoid behavior that creates unsafe contact with young people, including sexualized comments, inappropriate direct messages, pressure to share images, or attempts to move conversations to other platforms for unsafe purposes.
Community Guidelines Connection
These Child Safety Standards are part of Rise Up’s broader Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. Violating these standards may result in immediate enforcement action, including permanent account removal.
Updates to These Standards
Rise Up may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time as our platform, safety practices, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above will show when changes were made.
