TaxReady Terms and Conditions
Official policy page for TaxReady Terms and Conditions.
Effective Date: July 4, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TaxReady mobile application, website pages, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Joseph S Apps, LLC (“Joseph S Apps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, creating an account, or using TaxReady, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of TaxReady
TaxReady is an organizational tool that helps users manually track business revenue, expenses, receipt photos, W-2 photos, personal budget information, reminders, and exported PDF reports. TaxReady may also provide copy-and-paste prompts that users can choose to use with outside tools such as ChatGPT.
TaxReady does not file taxes, prepare tax returns, provide bookkeeping services, submit information to tax agencies, connect directly to tax agencies, or replace professional advice.
2. No Tax, Accounting, Legal, or Financial Advice
TaxReady is not an accountant, CPA, enrolled agent, attorney, financial advisor, payroll provider, or tax preparer. The Service is provided for general organization, recordkeeping, budgeting, and informational convenience only.
You are solely responsible for reviewing your information, confirming accuracy, keeping complete records, determining whether expenses are deductible, determining whether income is taxable, meeting filing deadlines, and complying with all applicable tax, employment, business, bookkeeping, and financial laws.
You should consult a qualified accountant, CPA, enrolled agent, tax preparer, attorney, or other appropriate professional before filing taxes, claiming deductions or credits, submitting tax forms, making tax elections, relying on exported reports, or making financial decisions.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use TaxReady. Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us of unauthorized use.
You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
4. User Information and Documents
You are responsible for all information, entries, receipts, W-2 photos, files, notes, PDFs, prompts, and other content that you enter, upload, create, export, or share through TaxReady (“User Content”). You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and upload your User Content.
You agree not to upload unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, infringing, abusive, malicious, or unauthorized content. You should not upload documents that you are not allowed to store or share.
5. Accuracy of Entries and Reports
TaxReady reports and summaries are based on the information you enter or upload. If your entries are missing, duplicated, miscategorized, dated incorrectly, or otherwise inaccurate, your reports may also be inaccurate.
We do not verify your income, expenses, receipts, W-2 forms, categories, deductions, employer information, business status, tax classification, or filing obligations. You must review all information before relying on it.
6. PDF Exports and Third-Party Use
TaxReady may allow you to export PDFs containing income, expenses, receipt images, W-2 images, notes, and prompts. Once you export, download, email, upload, print, text, share, or otherwise move a PDF outside TaxReady, you are responsible for how it is stored, transmitted, used, and protected.
If you upload a TaxReady PDF or prompt to ChatGPT, another AI service, accounting software, tax software, a tax professional, cloud storage, email, messaging, or any third-party service, that service is separate from TaxReady and is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
7. Privacy and Security
Your use of TaxReady is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Tax and financial information can be sensitive. You are responsible for protecting your device, passwords, exported PDFs, screenshots, and any information you choose to share outside the app.
8. Device Permissions
TaxReady may request access to camera, photos, files, notifications, or other device features to provide selected features. You can manage permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work if required permissions are denied or revoked.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, reverse engineer the app except where prohibited by law, use automated systems to overload the Service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, violate laws, infringe rights, or use TaxReady to commit fraud or evade legal obligations.
10. Free App and Changes
TaxReady may be offered as a free app. We may change, add, remove, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature will always be available or error-free.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services such as app stores, Firebase, Google, Apple, authentication providers, cloud services, AI tools, and other platforms. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, errors, terms, privacy practices, or decisions.
12. Intellectual Property

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful personal or internal business purposes.
13. Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, misused the Service, or used it in a way that could harm us, users, service providers, or third parties.
